BRISTOL, TN – A motorcyclist was killed and two children were injured in a collision on Highway 394 on Saturday afternoon, WJHL reports.
William Pedziwol, 27, was riding his motorcycle east on 394 when an SUV pulled into his path from White Top Road, causing the collision. Emergency responders arrived on the scene by 4:05 p.m., but could not save Pedziwol, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children in the SUV were injured: a 2-year-old who was taken by helicopter to a facility in Johnson City, and a 7-year-old who was transported by ambulance to Bristol Regional Medical Center. The SUV’s two adult occupants—the parents of the children—were unhurt.
The children were still hospitalized as of Sunday evening. An investigation into the crash may be ongoing.
