News: Nashville hit-and-run caught on camera

NASHVILLE, TN – Police are searching for the driver responsible for striking a parked car and fleeing in an East Nashville neighborhood Monday night.

According to WSMV, the incident took place along Glenview Drive when the driver of a Ford Explorer crashed into an unspecified vehicle owned by Amo Elizabeth.

Elizabeth believes the incident was intentional as the vehicle drove nearly 20 feet up to her driveway before striking her car. She is a prominent LGBTQ+ rights activist and believes that may have played into the suspect’s motive.

Fortunately, no injuries were sustained as a result of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
