by Ponce Law | September 10th, 2020

MURFREESBORO, TN – A construction worker was injured in a fall at a job site in Murfreesboro Tuesday, News Channel 5 reported.

The accident happened on Memorial Boulevard, where the worker fell while framing the roof of a three-story building.

Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue officials said the man landed on the third floor but had to be rescued by emergency crews because there are no staircases yet in the building.

He was lowered to the ground in a basket by first responders and then taken to an emergency department to be treated for his injuries. No information was released on the worker’s condition.
