FRANKLIN, TN – Firefighters in Franklin responded to the scene of a crane collapse at a construction site Monday afternoon, NewsChannel 5 reported.
The accident happened at about 1 p.m. at the site in Berry Farms on Rural Plains Circle. The 200-foot crane fell across the road and into a parking lot, fire department officials said.
The crane operator refused medical treatment after climbing out of the crane, and no one was hurt in the incident.
Firefighters managed to contain diesel fuel that leaked from the crane after it toppled.
