Crash alert: Man killed in wall collapse at Nashville construction site

NASHVILLE, TN – A worker died in an accident at a Nashville construction site Tuesday morning, according to WKRN.

Police responded at about 11 a.m. to the site on West End Avenue, where a wall had collapsed outside an office building.

Investigators determined that 61-year-old Timothy Tyler was removing caulk around part of an exterior wall when it fell on him.

Tyler was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He worked for Architectural Glass and Metal Company, Inc.  The fatal accident is now under investigation.
