Ms Madden is the 5th grade science teacher, she has a reputation of no nonsense. In the early fall of 2022 there was some suspicious activity, perhaps an unauthorized person on the elementary school campus, this led to a lockdown in the elementary school.
The kids in her hallway (4th and 5th graders) saw Ms Madden sprint toward the door, as they say toward the danger. This was a very scary day for these kids and Ms Madden made them feel safe. They were confident she wasn't going to let anyone in the school. At a time of so much fear in schools... These kids felt safer
