I have been a marketing teacher for 16 years and advisor for DECA. Each year I spend well over $500 of my personal money on additional supplies for my classes and DECA competitors to have the best possible experience. But is is worth it because it is adding a more hands on experience or adding a moment of fun, like National Oreo Day. I would use the money to help fund our DECA members trip to National Competition this spring. I have the pleasure of taking 16 members to Orlando to compete in marketing and business competitions at the high school level.
