Seventh Grade

Valor Collegiate Academy
Mr Arp is incredible. Sure I may be a little bias because yes as you may have guessed he’s my husband. But what you don’t know is he didn’t start out as a teacher. He started as a preacher. However, after 15 years of service in the church of the Nazarene he made a complete career change after the church told us that being Allies for the LGBTQ+ community was no longer allowed. So at 40 he began using his undergraduate degree in biology to teach 7th grade science and he absolutely loves it. He loves middle schoolers and brags on them all the time. He constantly frets over their performance and makes sure that every single student really gets it. To watch the change he has made in his students lives over the past 5 years is amazing. You’d never know he hasn’t been a career teacher this whole time. It fits him like a glove. I can’t think of a more deserving person.

I had a great experience with Ponce Law when applying for my Social Security Disability benefits. Agnese was very helpful and knowledgeable, answered my questions and walked through the entire process with me. I was approved pretty quickly and will recommend them to anyone applying for disability!
