Caleb Reese

Mr. Reese is a PE teacher for grades K-4. He makes every child feel like they are his "favorite". One day a little girl was in his year selling girl scout cookies and when he walked out they looked at his wife and said "Do you know Mr. Reese? He's famous"! They think he is a superstar because he makes them all successful every week in PE class and differentiates and supports them at their individual levels (including the severly handicapped class/students, those with autisum, and is inclusive of all types of students all day every day). He does No Soda November and almost all students think it is like the bible of what they need to do as he shares with them how many burpees it takes to burn off a handful of M&Ms, shows them how much sugar is in soft drinks, and tells them "you can't out exercise a bad diet." He is a role model of all of us. He has encouraged me to start Cross Fit where he coached after school for teens/kids. My health 3 years later is better (it is the trickle down effect) to where all are motivated by him. If we ever say we can't do something he says "not yet"!
