Cassie Venable

Both of my daughters went to Beech Elementary and both had very different experiences as did I as a parent. We were hoping my youngest got the teacher my oldest daughter had, however, we’re so very glad that Ella was placed in Ms. V’s class. She is such an amazing teacher, LOVES her students, their crazy mommas ?, her coworkers and the entire school community. She’s truly an inspiration to so many people. I still, to this day, remember my kindergarten year because of having such an incredible person to have taught me. I know deep down, my youngest will feel the same way when she gets my age. She goes to Ms. V’s class most mornings (as well as many of her previous students) and gives her the biggest hug. She made it a point to treat her outgoing kindergartners to an ice cream date day the summer before they were first graders. I can’t say enough how much she means to my daughter, my family and I’m sure the entire staff at Beech Elementary. I often wonder if she’ll one day take the current principal’s place when he retires! They sure would be lucky to have her leading their school.
