Courtney Burns

My favorite memory of Ms. Courtney is the previous year’s shopping extravaganza that she organized for our students. She worked (with a team) tirelessly to locate community partners to donate items to our school so that every single student in our building could pick out something for a loved one. In addition, she organized it so that a Rudolph came around to take pictures with all the students, and our District staff wrapped presents. By the end of the event, every single child in the building took home at least one gift for a loved one. There were countless students who were able to take gifts home to everyone in their immediate family. This is just one of the times that she has done everything she could to ensure our students had a holiday to remember. She is the most selfless person I have ever known, and I am absolutely to be working with her.
