Mrs.Cannon was so welcoming to me as a substitute teacher and in my current position as anteaching assistant for EHES.She was also such a support for one of my grandchildren .She has a long history in education as a teacher and currently working in RTI.She is such a light on so many gray days.She is often the first person anyone sees in the mornings. All are greeted with a welcoming smile.She represents how all of us want to be.She shows her love of education and the children each day. Every day is a favorite memory of her.When she retires there will be a void that cannot be filled,just ask any who know her.I can think of no one more deserving of this award.
