Biography:
My name is Won Seo, and I was born in South Korea but grew up in the Philippines, Ghana, The Gambia, and Senegal before moving to the United States. I am currently a sophomore at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, double majoring in Biology and Psychology on the pre-med track, with minors in Chemistry, Philosophy, and Math. I’m passionate about medicine and aspire to become a neurosurgeon, though the ER seems pretty cool too.
Reaction Statement:
I’m really grateful to receive the 2025 Perspectives Scholarship. As a college student juggling academics, work, and life, financial support like this makes a real difference. This scholarship helps ease some of the financial burden and allows me to stay focused on my education and future goals. I appreciate Ponce Law for investing in students like me, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward in my journey toward medicine.
