Charity of the Month: Boy Scouts of America

Each month, the team of Nashville personal injury attorneys at Ponce Law supports a non-profit organization from the local community. That’s why throughout the month of June, we are proud to be partnering with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) as our Charity of the Month.

The Middle Tennessee Council of the BSA includes more than 35,000 members and covers a span of 37 counties and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The sheer size of the organization has allowed the BSA to have a positive impact on the community and the people in it through dozens of philanthropic projects.

The scouts just hosted the Trail of Tears Open Bass Tournament at Percy Priest Lake on May 17. Now, the BSA is gearing up for its next fundraising activity in September, when they host the Scouting On The Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run at Edwin Warner Park in Nashville.

For those who want to help the BSA and missed the bass tournament but don’t want to wait until September, there are ways to contribute to the organization. Throughout June, simply “like” Michael D. Ponce & Associates’ Facebook page and we will donate $1 to the Middle Tennessee Council of the BSA.

If you wish to keep up with other ways we are working to improve the area, you can follow the community and news section of our website.
