Expect Traffic and Route Changes During Bonnaroo and CMA Fest

It’s going to be a busy week around Middle Tennessee with Bonnaroo and CMA Fest—two of our state’s largest music festivals—taking place over the course of the same four days. With so many residents and out-of-towners attempting to get to their destinations, you can count on traffic patterns being altered. The Nashville car accident lawyers at Ponce Law would like to let you know about some of the changes you can expect.

Downtown Nashville will see lane and street closures stemming from CMA Fest. Law enforcement shut down Broadway from First to Second Avenue last night at midnight. The road will remain closed throughout the remainder of the week and officials have stated other roads will be closed in the area as the opening of the festival approaches.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol and Department of Transportation will be keeping traffic moving along I-24 as attendees for the annual Bonnaroo Music Festival begin to arrive in Manchester. WKRN 2 News has provided details about what attendees can expect as they begin to make their way closer to the farm.

At Ponce Law, we know the risks that traveling in high traffic volumes can pose. That’s why our Nashville personal injury lawyers are encouraging motorists to stay safe by buckling up, slowing down, and driving defensively during this weekend’s festivities.
