Some believe the hit television program, Nashville, is the extent of Nashville’s involvement in the film industry, but the truth is quite the contrary. The city has hosted the Nashville Film Festival since 1969 and, each year, awards are given to the best independent film entries from the state.
What’s so exciting about this year’s event for the Nashville personal injury lawyers at Ponce Law is that one of our own is a finalist for a Tennessee filmmakers’ award. The festival screening of Best Part Productions and attorney Trey McClarnon III’s short film, Bear With Me, was selected as one of the four best movies entered into the festival by a Tennessee filmmaker. This means the film will now be shown at an outdoor screening at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, at Walk of Fame Park near the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
There, awards for the best film will be given at the conclusion of the final movie.
The event is free and family-friendly, so break out the blankets or lawn chairs and come down to the park to support local artists! To stay up to date on other local activities the attorneys at Michael D. Ponce & Associates are taking part in, feel free to check our social media outlets and the community news section of our website.
