This is Why We Advertise

Whether on TV, the Internet, or a billboard driving down I-24, unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few decades, chances are you’ve seen a lawyer ad or two. Some advertising firms take the practical route, showcasing their firm’s accolades and services, while others take a more whimsical approach, featuring transforming cars and Wild West-themed showdowns. Regardless of the content, if the ad got your attention, one might conclude it served its purpose.

There was a time in the not so distant past when lawyer ads were forbidden. In fact, personal injury lawyers couldn’t openly advertise before 1976, when the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a law firm from Arizona that believed prohibiting lawyers from advertising violated their first amendment rights. Since then, pretty much every personal injury law firm has advertised.

So why do we advertise? To help connect the injured people of Nashville with a capable and compassionate law firm. Hiring a lawyer isn’t as simple as hiring a Lyft driver. There are several factors to consider, making it more involved than simply opening the Yellow Pages and calling the first law firm you see. You don’t need just any lawyer. You need the right lawyer for your specific situation. By advertising, we have the opportunity to demonstrate our experience, our expertise, and our record of success, so that when you do need a lawyer, you already know whom to call.

If you’ve been injured in a Nashville area accident, give us a call. We’d love to speak with you.
