Vanderbilt University Hosts Free Concert This Evening

March 21, 2014

It’s going to be a beautiful spring night here in Middle Tennessee, which is why the Nashville Personal Injury Lawyers with Ponce Law are encouraging metro locals to get out and enjoy some great music this evening!

Beginning tonight at 8 p.m. at the Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music’s Ingram Hall, the Vanderbilt University Orchestra and Wind Symphony will perform a concert that is free for the public to attend. According to the Vanderbilt University calendar of events, the orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s Serenade For Strings, while the wind symphony will offer renditions of pieces such as Gabriel Fauré’s Chant Funéraire, arranged by Myron Moss, Florent Schmidt’s Dionysiaques, and Donald Grantham’s J’ai Été au Bal.

Robin Fountain and Thomas Verrier will conduct the music. The program will conclude by 9:30 p.m.

The goal of the free concert is to help students develop their playing skills, professional habits, and ethics as well—such as preparation, promptness, and support of others within the ensemble.

Michael D. Ponce & Associates recognizes the hard work that has been done in preparation of this event. That is why the firm would like to wish both ensembles well in their performances this evening and urge citizens who are free to take a moment to sit and listen to the sounds that surround you here in Music City!
