Getting the citizens of Middle Tennessee to bicycle and walk more is crucial to improving traffic and health in the region. But the increase in the volume of these types of travel come with risks of collisions with motor vehicles that can result in serious injuries such as organ and tissue damage, Broken Bones, and lacerations.
To reduce the number of accidents that involve cyclists and pedestrians, officials have announced that Nashville will host the 3rd Annual Tennessee Bike Summit. The event will bring together bicycle enthusiasts, lawmakers, engineers, and others to discuss how the state can improve infrastructure design to benefit those who choose to travel by foot or bike.
The event will take place over the weekend of May 14-17 and will feature several bicycle outings around the city during that time. The event will culminate in the Tour de Nash on Saturday morning.
Those who wish to attend the event should sign up as soon as possible to lock in an early bird registration price of $65. Anyone who wishes to participate in the Tour de Nash can take part for an additional $10.
The Nashville Personal Injury Lawyers with Ponce Law are looking forward to this event and are hopeful it is successful in improving riding conditions in Tennessee!
