Crash alert: Woman, 2 children injured in Crossville car accident

CROSSVILLE, TN – According to 1057 News, three people were hospitalized after a car ran off the road and crashed in Cumberland County Monday night.

The accident happened on Highland Lane near Dallas Smith Road in Crossville. Authorities said Christina L. Webb was driving a Chevy Cruze north when she tried to avoid a dog that reportedly ran in front of the vehicle.

The car went off the roadway and through a fence before coming to rest on its side. Webb, of Crossville, and two small children sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. They were transported to Cumberland Medical Center.
