HENDERSONVILLE, TN., – A pedestrian was killed on Saturday night as he crossed the westbound lanes of Vietnam Veterans Boulevard near mile marker 4.6, while attempting to help a friend who’d just been injured in a crash, reports WKRN.
Hendersonville police said they responded to the initial rollover crash at around 7 p.m. At around 7:15 p.m., a friend of the crash victim attempted to cross from the westbound side, and was struck by a vehicle in the roadway. The pedestrian died at the scene.
