NASHVILLE, TN – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 led to traffic delays in north Nashville Friday morning, according to WSMV.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the rollover accident happened at 5:37 a.m. on I-65 south near the split for Interstate 24. Five vehicles were involved in the wreck, including a Nashville Fire Department non-emergency vehicle. One of the vehicles, a van, ended up hanging off a guardrail near Exit 86 and had to be removed.
Only minor injuries were reported in the incident. A portion of I-65 was shut down while the scene was being cleared; the roadway reopened shortly before 7:30 a.m.
